Forum Rules

Our Rockpool is like a rockpool in a marine reserve. It is a self-contained environment filled with many hidden treasures, and sheltered by rocks from the rest of the sea. Often the rockpool will be a warmer temperature than the water that surrounds it. The creatures that inhabit the rockpool are all different; each amazing in their own right. Sometimes the rockpool is teeming with life. Other times it requires patience to wait to see what will emerge. Stirring up the waters will prevent you from seeing anything, and large waves and big storms can completely destroy the environment. We all know the old saying "treat others as you would like to be treated"; well, on this forum we would like members to treat others better!

Admins and Moderators exist to protect the Rockpool and its members. Admins and Moderators have the right to:
  • modify or move any post
  • delete any posts
  • delete your account without warning

Folk who are stirring may get a warning. Those who are creating big storms will have their membership removed without notice. Members who think they have the right to say whatever they want and not suffer any consequences should read all of the information linked to at the bottom of this page on "Freedom of Speech". Any member who we consider is not demonstrating our agreed values will also have their membership terminated. All the information on this forum is copyright. Nothing should be copied or quoted anywhere else without express permission, apart from your own contributions. Likewise all the images on the forum belong to their respective posters and must not be copied or used outside of The Rockpool without permission.
