Admins are the ones responsible for the day to day running of the site and keeping everything tickety boo.
Mods can do stuff with posts and topics like moving and deleting. it's a bit of a housekeeping role.
Members are regular members, without whom the forum would cease to exist!
The Beach members are members who are our core users, who are interested in chatting on a more personal level. You need to have been a regular member for at least two months and have over 40 posts to become a member of the Beach. More info here:

Outside of the Box is a special forum just for people who are homeschooling kids with special needs. The forum is called "Swimming against the Tide" and you need to send a PM to an admin if you would like access to it.
Homeschooling Reps is the group for people who are primarily representing other homeschooling groups, organisations or businesses. If you often post on the Rockpool is to let people know about other groups, activities, sales etc rather than participating in general chit-chat, then this is the group for you. Of course, homeschooling reps are more than welcome to participate in general chit-chat
This just acknowledges the fact that you have two hats on when on the Rockpool.
